2011 Lane Bryant Bloggers Conference... I learned so much!

I had a great time at the 2nd Annual Lane Bryant Bloggers Conference located at the Affinia Hotel in NYC. I really didn't know what to expect, this was my first time attending a bloggers conference. When I entered the ballroom the blogger veterans were all ready to go with their cameras out, laptops, iPhones etc. they were on it.  I met a few nice bloggers who welcomed me and made me feel really comfortable during my time at the conference. Everyone was networking and giving out there cards and I forgot mines (that's my only regret).

Lane Bryant has transformed over the years, I used to think that they only sold clothes for old people but they have gotten more trendy and current. They have a lot of great new designs coming out, and their bra selection is amazing. I'm sure you guys will appreciate some of the Sneak Peeks that I caught from the conference for the Fall Collection. They also came out with a Fabulous Jean line that I know every curvy girl will be running out to get “TIGHTER, TUMMY, TECHNOLOGY” they are called T3's and they should be in a store near you in August, so look out for them.

Unlike other retailers Lane Bryant is the only retailer who has consistently provided for plus size women.  They are true to their brand and it's continuing to get better. Lane Bryant cares about what their customers think; in fact they kept stating during the conference that “the customer makes the brand”. Why wouldn't you want to shop at a store who allows you to express your feedback and ideas about what you’re wearing? They truly listen to what the public has to say and our opinion influences there designs. I hope you enjoy the pictures and the beautiful ad they are launching really soon. I'm looking forward to attending another event like this and hopefully this time I will be prepared.

Oh! And I forgot I also got the pleasure of meeting The Curvy Fashionista herself Ms. Marie Denee she has done a lot for the curvy community  and on top of that she is a major sweetheart, very down to earth humble and so confident.

I would have posted earlier but my husband had major knee surgery and I'm taking care of him. When he gets a little relief and falls asleep I have some time to post...

Before and After Photo of the Makeover Lane Bryant provided to one of the bloggers who won the essay contest "Wardrobe Worries".  I think they did a good job on her, her makeup was really nice too.
