I gave myself a facial that night and here are the steps I followed:
Facial steps:
First wipe all the makeup off your face make sure you use cotton pads or you can use any soft paper towel and wet it first. It does not damage your skin like a rag/towel may do.
Boiled hot water to steam my face, I used a glass bowl and put the towel over my head so my face could absorb all the moisture over the bowl. DO NOT put your face in the water. (I have to say that for the not so smart people.)
Apply St. Ives naturally clear green tea cleanser on your face just a small amount and massage face. Place a warm towel over entire face and wipe off gently.
Apply St. Ives fresh skin apricot scrub to exfoliate skin.
Then I used Freeman Facial Peel-Off Mask, Cucumber, Skin Silkening its only 3.59 at any local drug store this mask gently peels away impurities while Cucumber extract leaves your skin smooth and silky. Place a warm towel over entire face and wipe off gently.
After you get all the mask off, place a cold towel over your face it reduces the size of your pores on your face your skin will feel more tighter and refreshed.
Apply St. Ives timeless skin collagen elastin facial moisturizer and your good to go.
When I woke up the next morning my face felt soooo refreshed and clean. I'm going to continue to use this product for a while and see how my face feel and looks after a month.
To maintain my skin now all I have to use my cleanser everyday and my moturizer until it's time for another facial.
If you want to do your own facial feel free to follow these steps and leave your facial experiences here. I recommend that you go to Duane Reade they have so many products to choose from.
Just like me I'm sure many of you are wondering "How often do you get a facial?" I did some research and here is what about.com had to say Click here!
