Long Satin Dress...

So a few months back I told you guys about my thrift finds. I posted a picture of a long satin colorful dress that I picked up. I was thinking about cutting the dress but my mom and sister don't think I should. I ran across a picture of Kim Kardashian with a similar style dress and I figured I could rock it similar to the way she wore it. Shawn's Co-worker is getting married and we have been invited to the wedding so I have to dress it up a bit, I don't know wear to start so I need all the suggestions I can get, please give your honest opinion. I know that I need a nice belt... but what color? I'm 5'2 so I need some high shoes, what style shoe should I get? and a cute bag or clutch... Take a look at how Kim. K wore it and tell me how I could dress my version up.

i LOVE the dress. i like how kim k is wearing it too. but for you, i would keep it simple bc its a wedding. a black belt, and some black heels with a platform and a (maybe sequin) clutch. bc the dress is so fun and festive, i would keep everything basic. but that is just one girls opinion.

buuttt....you can also wear pinkish purple (i think that's the other colors i'm seeing in your dress) shoes to play up that color in the dress. or even grey/silver. and match the cluthch.

ok, i'm done! lol...whatever you decide to wear with it will be great, i'm sure!

I agree with Nic..black belt black platform shoes or boots and rock that pink lip that you rock so well. I know you will look great.

Great ideas... ladies I think both of you are right because any other color belt or shoe that would make it look to playful... I found a fushia clutch that matches the pink in the dress , so I guess that can be the pop!!! You know I love my pink lipsticks..Im probably going to do a youtube video or post on my favorite pink lipsticks...
